No, the software programs that use the foot pedals and is not cooperating.For the past month, it has worked intermittently or not at all on the same laptop it had worked previously on for many years.
Infinity Foot Pedal Ation Software Programs ThatI have googled it to death and tried many different things suggested including changing power management options for the USB ports. Infinity Foot Pedal Ation Windows 10 And TwoHaving read that others were having the same issues, I went out and got a new laptop with Windows 10 and two new Infinity foot pedals. Again, repeated many of the options that I tried on the Windows 7 laptop, including drivers, power management, etc. I tried the compatibility options for the programs and went all the way back to Windows XP with no luck. It would be listed in the device manager which stated it was working properly. Troubleshooter would only find an issue if it was plugged into a USB 3.0 port and would say it might not work. I got one of my old laptops out that was running Windows 7 and plugged in the foot pedal. Infinity Foot Pedal Ation Update That WasThere were no updates done to the older laptop as I didnt want to chance it was update that was the issue. It is the only compatible foot pedal with the one software program I use. ![]() Intel Core i7-4600U CPU 2.10 GHz, 2.70 GHz. OS x64-based processor Everything is update as far as Microsoft is concerned. Should also add I ran the Microsoft Fix-It on both laptops and found no issues to fix. It also involves more than one software program I use the foot pedal for. What software are you using The site states: This pedal will NOT work with the FREE version of Express Scribe software. Did you update the software program used by the pedal Have you installed any new software MIKE. On the CDSI, it is through an VPN and they are running a Windows 7 set up on their end. On the off chance that it still was a Windows 10 issue, it still wont work on the two other Windows 7 laptops I tried it on which ran these two software programs and foot pedals for quite some time before I started having issues. No new programs have seen installed around the time the issues started. Thinking it had something to do with a WindowsMicrosoft updates, I brought out a much older Windows 7 laptop that had not been updated in over a year and the pedal worked for a day, day and a half, and then this morning, back to the usual and not working. But use an uninstaller like Geek Uninstaller or Revo Uninstaller They get all the flotsam jetsam left behind by the regular uninstallers. Hopefully with a fresh install things will begin to work.
